Alternative Places To Find B2B Sales Leads

If you work for a small business, you’re likely to always be on the lookout for potential sales leads. When you work in the B2B sector, you might feel as though your options are limited.

However, a recent article for Small Biz Trends explained that there are a number of unconventional B2B networking spots you might want to try.

The news provider recommends non-profit volunteering as an opportunity to build connections with like-minded people you may not otherwise come into contact with. “Working hard on a good cause is a great way to meet like-minded people - and many of these other professionals will potentially be open to talking with you about your business,” it stated.

Your local coffee shop could also be a hotspot for networking, given that more and more people are choosing to spend some of their working week at coffee shops. Introducing yourself to someone else working on a laptop could lead to a valuable new connection.

If you have children, meanwhile, you might make some useful business connections at events you attend with other parents.

It’s worth chatting to other mums and dads while watching a football match or supervising a school dance.

You don’t want to go to any of these places or events with networking specifically in mind, but be open to the possibility that you could meet business prospects wherever you go.
